Contemporary Dance classes are now being offered

What exactly is Contemporary Dance?
Contemporary Dance has been a national phenomenon, captivating audiences with eye-catching choreography and drawing in dancers of all skill levels. Demand for unique dance material has grown over recent years and Contemporary/Modern Dance has been a key ingredient in diversifying performances. Dancers and audience members are expecting more of a "twist" to the art and Contemporary Dance is the key to innovative movement phrases. Classes combine several dance forms, focusing on technique and "dropping the weight" for a more grounded movement quality. Expressive movement and the abstract ideas of modern dance are fused with many different movement ideas.

"I really enjoyed Stephanie's class. It improved how I moved, not to mention my turns, which were less than flawless. It changed my whole perspective on what I thought dancing really was. Her choreography was neat, and it was beyond cool that she let us make up certain parts on our own, which made it really original."
